Ellen Pader, PhD, is an anthropologist specializing in housing discrimination. Ellen has been a board member since 1992 and has led our organization as Board President since 2008. She is a professor emerita at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, who taught regional planning and public policy for over 30 years. As part of her teaching, Ellen partnered with MFHC for many years to perform testing projects with her students that have been vital to the work we do. Since retiring, this is one of the things Ellen misses most about teaching. Her involvement in MFHC continues to be deeply rewarding and gratifying.
